Reclamation 316 is intended to be ministry of healing, restoration, and encouragement for everyone. All of us are broken vessels in the need of healing. It is my hope and desire that God will use what I write in this blog as a restorative word, which will encourage you and which will be a healing balm for you.
This blog is an extension of my ministry as Pastor of the Kishwaukee Community Church located in Stillman Valley, IL. As part of this ministry, I invite you to worship with us this Sunday (8:30 and 10:00 AM) at Kishwaukee Community Church located at 8195 Kishwaukee Rd in Stillman Valley, IL. The church is located 5 miles south of Rockford International Airport.
The blog will be a compilation of reflections, comments, and devotions written from a Christian, Biblical, and pastoral perspective. While I hesitate to promise daily updates, this will be my goal. On Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays the blog will have a specific focus. On:
- Sundays I will post a Psalm and a Prayer appropriate for worship;
- Mondays I will post a link to Sunday’s sermon and a postpartum reflection on the sermon;
- Thursdays I will post a preview of my sermon for the following Sunday at Kishwaukee Community Church. This will provide you the opportunity to prepare your heart for worship and to encourage you to invite a friend to join you for worship.
The other four days of the week my posts will be written about whatever is on my heart and mind that morning. I may reflect on a passage of scripture, a particular Christian song, a quote which grabbed my attention, a book I am reading, or a current event which is impacting our daily life.
Your comments about particular postings and prayers for this ministry are welcome and appreciated.
Blessings and peace,
